Before you begin
One question on each of the 29 skills the SAT tests. No time limit, but a stopwatch runs: most students take about 42 minutes. You'll need scratch paper and a calculator for Math.
| Section | Questions | SAT pace per question |
|---|---|---|
| Reading and Writing | 10 | ~71 s |
| Math | 19 | ~95 s |
| Total | 29 | No time limit · about 42 min |
How it works
- There's no time limit. A stopwatch tracks your time so your report can compare it with the real SAT's pace.
- Work the way you would on test day: your time on each question is part of your analysis.
- Sections run in order. Within a section, move freely and change answers; a section you leave is closed.
- If the page reloads, you pick up where you left off.
- There is no penalty for a wrong answer, so answer every question.
- Mark any question for review to find it again in the question map.
